[Chaos-l] Up coming events

Greetings everyone,

I have several things to mention and propose.

Our May meeting is next Tuesday May 14th. Our guest speaker will be Dr.
Steven Danford of UNC-Greensboro, Department of Physics. He will be talking
to us about the Three Colleges Observatory and the science being
accomplished there.

The meeting is held at Carol Wood Assembly Hall, located at 750 Weaver
Dairy Rd., in Chapel Hill. The meeting begins at 7pm.

HOG DAY in Hillsborough and Solar Observing on May 18th. Would anyone be
interested in doing this. Thousands of people show up for this event and we
may be able set up a booth/observing station as CHAOS at the event. Good
Bar-B-Q too. You can bring the family, this is a lot to do.

ALCON is in Atlanta this year, July 24 - 27. Think about attending as an AL
(Astronomical League) member.

I'm scheming up other things in my head as I write this, so keep curious.
