I have not heard of this. googling finds web pages for hog day back to 2009 but

Possibly if I could be convinced the organisers know what they're doing. Are 
they only targetting people who don't use computers?

Day mode.

Tent/shelter? (I have a single person beach shelter, OK for me, but it's not 
what we need for Hogg Day).
