with a diagnosis, go through treatment, move into survivorship or journey
through end of life, Project Compassion helps people have the resources,
support, and hope they need to live life to the fullest every day. This
includes helping form and train Volunteer Support Teams to provide
practical, emotional, and spiritual support, so individuals and families
will not have to cope alone; offering workshops and community education
events to educate the community about the physical, emotional, spiritual,
and practical aspects of serious illness, care giving, end of life, and
grief; and working in partnership with families, health care providers,
attorneys, and clergy to help people with Advance Care Planning, so they may
anticipate future health care choices, talk about end of life decisions, and
put decisions in writing.
See the attached document for more information about fall events sponsored
by Project Compassion.
