Looking Ahead (Additional calendar information about Advent is attached)
Thursday, December 21 The Longest Night: A Liturgy of Light in the Midst
of Darkness.
Christmas can be a painful time. The loss of loved ones, broken
relationships, the insecurity of employment, the weariness of poor health,
the pain of isolation, or the pressure of holiday preparations and activity
all these can make us feel alone in the midst of celebrations of the
season. Please join us at The Chapel at Ephesus Place on the longest night
of the year, for a service of Scripture, music, stories, prayer, candle
lighting, and communion. Feel free, also, to invite friends who might
appreciate this time set apart, to name and embrace the darkness that is
present both in the world and in our own lives, and to prepare our hearts
for the coming of the light of Christ this Christmas season. 7 PM.

Christmas One, Sunday, December 31 5 PM at the Kehillah
The Feast of the Epiphany, Saturday, January 6 5 PM at the Gwyn¹s
