Here¹s what¹s happening at the Advocate in the days ahead (new information
is printed in RED)

***Note especially the ANNUAL MEETING this Sunday ***

Wed., Jan. 17       Contemplative Prayer at Ephesus Place. Open to all,
seasoned and novice alike. Come nad dwell with God. 6:00-6:45 PM.

Thurs., Jan. 18     Holy Eucharist: We will remember and celebrate The
Confession of Peter. At the Occasional Chapel at Ephesus Place. 12 noon.

Sun., Jan. 21                Epiphany III

4 PM            Set up of the worship space and rehearsal of music of the
day (note later time than usual for set-up)

                    No Christian Education. Plan to stay for dinner and
Meeting!

5:00 PM    Holy Eucharist The Rev. Liz Dowling-Sendor will Celebrate and The
Vicar will Preach. Child Care and Education for 1-5 year-olds during the
Liturgy of the Word. Commissioning of Parents, Friends and Advocates of
Infants, Children, and Youth: parents; mothers and fathers, birth and
adoptive; grandparents, aunts and uncles; guardians and advocates; friends
and neighbors; child care workers and nannies; volunteers, coaches, and
mentors; and all who are friends of infants, children, and youth.


6:20 PM   Advocate Table Fellowship and Annual Meeting‹ Please plan to stay
for supper (provided by Dinner Group 5), fellowship and Advocate Annual
Meeting with Vestry Elections, reflections on the year gone by and plans for
the year ahead. (child care provided).

7:15 PM     Head out into the world in Peace.

Wed., Jan. 24   Contemplative Prayer at Ephesus Place. 6:00-6:45 PM.

Thurs., Jan. 25  Holy Eucharist: The Conversion of Paul. At the Occasional
Chapel at Ephesus Place. 12 noon.
 

Sun., Jan. 28            Epiphany IV

10:30 AM              Meeting of Parents of Kids of the Advocate (POKOTA!)
Child care provided. At the Holloman Home (for directions contact the
Holloman Home <swholloman at aol.com>.
4 PM                    Christian Education: Confronting The Sin of Racism
Session 3: White Privilege ³How did I get it? Do I want it?  Can I
get rid of it?² 
5 PM                     Holy Eucharist with Commission of: All who engage
in business and commerce
6:15 PM                 Dinner fellowship. At the Kehillah
