Bulls Night -- Friday, June 15! It is time for the annual Durham

Email Chip Matteson at chippen8r at gmail.com and let him know you are
planning to attend so he knows how many seats to reserve for our
block of tickets. Game time is 7pm. Tickets are $7 each. The Advocate
(via the Senior Warden) will pay for the tickets. People are asked to
reimburse the Church (via the Senior Warden) as they are able. But
don'tlet cost keep you away! We'll gather in the reserved seating
block inside the park around 6:30pm to get some fellowship and
classic baseball refreshments before the first pitch.

Contemplative Prayer Retreat: Save the dates August 3 to 5 if you are
interested in attending the Contemplative Prayer Group silent
retreat. It will take place at Avila Retreat Center which is in
Durham, the northwest corner. In addition to silence and
contemplative prayer sessions there will be discussion of The Cloud

Sullivan at 542-2521 or charsullivan at yahoo.com

Ski Trip Ahead!?! It's not too soon to start planning for the
Advocate's first ski weekend at Valle Crucis and Boone North Caorlina
-- sometime in January or February 2008. If think you'd like to go,
or if you'd like to have input in choosing the date, or any other
planning, please contact John and Sandy Barnhart --
johnnsandybarnhart at yahoo.com.

The blessing of God,
The eternal goodwill of God,
The shalom of God,
The wildness and the warmth of God,
Be among us and between us
Now and always. Amen.

God bless you in your ministry.
