[Eenc-board] August 4 Board Meeting @ Lutheridge--RSVP to Diane Silver

Dear EENC Board Members,

Just a reminder that we have our next Board meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 4 at Lutheridge Conference Center, near Asheville.  It is our policy to have our summer meeting at the fall conference site, so we can finalize plans for the conference and understand the setting and logistics.

The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on August 4 and continue until 2:00 or 3:00 p.m., depending on the agenda.  Please send your agenda items to me by July 30, along with your Board reports, so they can be compiled into one report for the meeting.

Send your RSVP to Diane Silver (at the address copied above) no later than July 23, so she can plan for anyone who wants to spend the night on Friday, before the Saturday meeting.  She will also need a meal count based on those attending.

So far, the items for the agenda include:  Introduction of new Board members, Policy Manual updates, Membership site on the web, and of course, planning for the conference--to include policies for registration, membership dues, exhibitors, and scholarships.  Please bring your conference fund-raising ideas or commitments to the meeting.

Diane will send maps and driving directions to those attending the Board meeting.  We will try to arrange carpools from the Triangle to the meeting, once we know who is attending, and who is willing to drive.
