To EENC Western Section Members~~

I wanted to let y'all know I will be stepping down as Western Section
Coordinator at the end of this term. I've really enjoyed being a part of
the Board of Directors as a way of being active in EENC. After serving in
this position for a few years now however, it's time for me to move on.
With the upcoming conference comes elections for next year's board members.
Nominate yourself or someone else thru *October 1.*

Generally, the position involves serving as a Board representative for
Western section members, that's everyone West of the Uwharrie National
Forest and Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge north to Pilot Mountain State
Park (check out those sites!). Check out the EENC website for more info:
http://www.eenc.org/boardnominationform.html

If you're interested in EE as a profession, I encourage you to consider this
position. This is a great way to get to know the leaders in EE throughout
the state and, through our affiliation with North American Association for
Environmental Education (NAAEE), serving on the EENC Board of Directors
gives you access to the national and international world of EE.

I've really enjoyed serving in this role and am glad to talk with you if
you're interested in more information.
