I like this one! Lindbergh has many quotes we could use throughout the conference, too...

How about Gifts From the Sea? Here's the Anne Morrow Lindbergh quote --- "The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea."

Good morning!
I am pleased to announce that we have a date and location for the 2008 EENC Conference!
November 6-9th
Fort Caswell Baptist Assembly
Oak Island, NC
Some of you may be surprised by the date as we had been looking at October 23rd. A couple of our board members were aware that NCSTA will not be having their annual conference this year in November as they are hosting a regional NSTA meeting this year at the end of October. Therefore, moving the date to November enable more nonformal and formal educators to attend.
What can you do to help?
I am busily writing volunteer descriptions but in the meantime, we need a conference theme. Let's quickly brainstorm possible themes. I'd like to have our theme determined by the end of the year. Please take a look at our past themes and Fort Caswell Baptist Assembly for ideas.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you!
Dee
