Hey guys.
Attached is a draft document with volunteer descriptions for conference
committee members. Please take a look at all or part of the document if
you have been involved in planning an EENC conference. I'd like to get
this out first to those people who have already volunteered to help and
then to our members by the end of this week. I hate to put such a short
time line on this, but I need to get my committee down so that we can
get this show on the road!
Thank you to all who gave suggestions for the 2008 conference theme.
Though I really liked the concept of change in many people's ideas, I
think folks will be very tired of it by the end of the presidential
race. I really like the sound and non-confining nature of someone's
suggestion of "Sand, Sea and EENC." I'm ready to call it unless someone
else and think of something else clever in the next few days.
Dee
P.S. Feel free to email me if you want to lay claims to a particular
volunteer position! :-)
