Dee et. al,
I will be happy to assist with any publicity as I can tap into my
university and piedmont area resources. At this time I cannot commit to
heading it up, but I would like to assist.
Key note speaker ideas:
Ann Somers
Department of Biology UNCG
She has done extensive conservation work in NC (wildlife, bog turtle and
sea turtle work with Jean Beasley) and Costa Rica (leather back sea
turtle research), is on the NC non game committee, and teaches several
aspects of conservation biology at UNCG. I am very close to Ann and
would have no problem speaking to her if you are interested.

Dr. Jay Lennartson
Department of Geography UNCG
Dr. Jay (as he is know) is another great resource to think about. He has
done extensive work in greenhouse reduction and air quality impacts on
various ecosystems. In addition he is working with the City of
Greensboro and in Germany this summer to develop a Green House Gas
Inventory. He has more energy than anyone I know and is a wonderful
public speaker.
