We are very excited to have a return vist from Jamie Laval.  We had him
in a house concert last year and we liked him so much that we've gotten
him to return for another show.  This time we're ready to have many more
folks than our living room could hold.  He will be in the beautiful hall
of the Doris Duke Center at Duke Gardens.

ONE OF THE premier Celtic violinists on the international music scene today, 
Jamie Laval consistently creates rapt audiences with his intensely passionate 
performances that run the gamut from tender and melancholy to wildly jubilant.  
Jamie's music making is born out of his Scottish and Irish heritage. After his  
student years at the Victoria Conservatory of Music he traveled extensively,  
immersing himself in a wide variety of musical styles including classical,  
jazz, and folk. Jamie now resides in Portland and tours regularly throughout 
the US.
