[Triangle Folk] Upcoming TFMS Concert

Dear Members and Friends of the Triangle Folk Music Society,

On Saturday, October 8th, the Triangle Folk Music Society presents James 
Gordon with Marion Linton in concert.

Canadian musician James Gordon has had a remarkably diverse 25-year career.  
As a solo singer-songwriter and also with the Canadian folk trio, TAMARACK, he 
has released over thirty albums and has toured exstensively across North 
America and Great Britain.  Gordon has written scores for symphony orchestras and 
dance and theatre, composed film scores and written a folk opera.  His 
compositions include children's songs, ballads, humorous tunes and biting political 
commentary. His song "Forbisher Bay" was recently named "Favourite Canadian 
Song" in a CBC radio contest.  Fellow Canadian, violinist and composer Marion 
Linton will provide accompaniment.
