Offering an entertaining and powerful performance of songs and instrumental
pieces, DiGiuseppe's and Gotham's repertoire draws from many sources, including the dance tunes of
the Celtic cultures, sophisticated and rhythmic Brazilian choros, flourishing
Parisian musettes, and the old time and bluegrass sounds of the American South.

David DiGiuseppe is a nationally recognized accordionist, known for his fiery
playing extending into Irish, Parisian and southern old time styles. A singer
and Irish cittern player as well, he is adept at diverse musical genres, with
performance experience in jazz and classical music in addition to folk.

DiGiuseppe tours the United States playing for New England- style contra dances,
both as a featured accordionist and with his dance band FootLoose. He performs
solo in schools, libraries and museums throughout the Carolinas, offering both
family concerts and educational presentations.

Growing up in the 1960's, Danny Gotham got the idea to play guitar when the
Beatles were televised into his living room. Since that time, Gotham has
developed into a master flatpicker and fingerpicking instrumentalist.

Gotham cut his musical teeth playing in various rock, blues, bluegrass and
country bands. In 1980, Gotham took Second Place in the prestigious National
Fingerpicking Guitar Championship in Winfield, KS. Since then he has opened for
many major acts, including Arlo Guthrie, Doc Watson, David Bromberg, Leo Kottke
