The Triangle Folk Music Society presents MAPPAMUNDI in concert Saturday, October 14th at 8 pm.  
 
Join MAPPAMUNDI ("Map of the World") for a fun-filled evening of acoustic "world music our way," including songs from the Balkans and the British Isles, Greek and Klezmer and Latin American tunes, plus a few surprises!

Mappamundi features strong vocal harmonies and a you-name-it array of instruments, from the bouzouki and the bowed dulcimer to the bass fiddle.  Its band members (Jim Baird, Ken Bloom, Beth Holmgren, Jane Peppler) have been playing together in the Triangle and throughout the Carolinas for over twelve years, treating audiences with their inventive, diverse repertoire and high spirits."
