Brian Peters is one of the English folk music scene’s top performers and a great musical all-rounder: a compelling singer, a skilled guitarist, and a virtuoso on squeezebox. Brian is one of the UK’s best anglo-concertina players and is just as good on button accordion, while he’s also internationally-known as a singer of traditional ‘Child’ ballads. He delivers a repertoire of surprising variety, so alongside classic songs from the folk tradition and lively jigs and hornpipes, you can expect to hear newer songs, his own instrumental compositions, and even occasional squeezebox excursions into ragtime or blues. Brian has recorded several highly-acclaimed CDs, and onstage he’s a great entertainer with dry humou and terrific energy.
Brian has played many major folk festivals in Britain, North America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. In the USA he’s appeared at Old Songs Festival, Mystic Seaport Maritime Festival, Summerfest, Champlain Valley and Pinewoods Camp, and has been on staff at Augusta Heritage Center’s Vocal Week.

Of course, the best way to see and hear Brian will be live in our living room.
