[Greenway-board] Re: TGC greenway-board email list

Hi Jeff,

Good question! I'm sending this to the entire board using the board list 
address.

All you need to do is to reply to this message, or any of the others 
I've sent recently with the address above in your From: address in your 
email viewer.

Messages sent to greenway-board at rtpnet.org will go to everyone on the 
list. That means you only have to worry about only one email to reach 
everyone.

You might want to put this address in your address book to make things 
easier.

Carl, Dave and Cotten have been on this list. So they have been 
receiving messages from messages sent to this address. Carl mentioned 
that he has been receiving my email agendas and other messages.

If you like, feel free to post notices of committee meetings using this 
address, even though not everyone is on the committee. That way, if 
others want to join you, they will know about it. All else can ignore. 
Or you can send emails to your respective committees by individual 
emails. That is up to the individual commitees.

We also have a greenway-news at rtpnet.org list that I'm hoping Don will 
utilize for the ECG News. He is a moderator of both lists so he can add 
names or make any other corrections. I've made Jeff a moderator of the 
board list, and will do the same for the news list as well. I'll contact 
him with password info. I'll make Larkin a moderator of the board list, 
and news list if he likes.

So far we only have one name on the greenway-news list. All we need is 
the email addresses and names of those on his list and he can send them 
out using the greenway-news list.

Let me know if you have any questions.

BTW, I did ask about National Trails Day at the meeting the other night. 
That was your cue to bring anything up any updates, etc. I thought I 
reiterated our support of this worthwhile effort. It is even more of an 
honor for TGC that you are the longtime leader for this observance and 
for activities related to it. I think I speak for everyone in that we'll 
continue to support you and the event all we can. If you need anything, 
ask for it, and I'm pretty sure we'll do our darndest to accomodate.
