[Greenway-board] TGC - Finance and Membership meeting

Hi William,

Sure I can remove the "Conferences" and "Trail Alerts" from the
brochure. Wendy had them in her version of the brochure and they were on
the website, so I included them.

I think these are left from the days of Sig Hutchinson. We we did one
"Circle the Triangle Trail" conference then, and as recently as last
year, wanted to do more.

The "Trail Alerts" were emails that called for members or subscribers to
write elected officials and staff to respond to specific concerns.
Again, this was a Sig thing. But we could possibly use it again if
needed as an extra edition of the TGC News.

I'll try sending the brochure as a PDF for you all to look at and make
edits.

I might add that I've brought these brochures to meetings and requested
you all make edits and corrections. Leslie Kennedy has already done this
for grammatical and content, to which I am grateful. Her changes have
been incorporated. So we welcome more.

I've been printing these on my color laser printer for about 20 cents
each. So far, I haven't asked for reimbursement as I've only done about
120 or so. One of the nice things about doing it using direct computer
printer output is that we can make changes and updates as often as we
like. If we print 1000-5000 of these, they will last awhile and be
impossible to modify. But the unit cost will be dramatically less. This
is something to consider.

Again, I'll try converting the brochure to a PDF and send it out to you
all. Else, I'll bring them to the next meeting.

Happy Trails,

Bill B.
