[Greenway-board] TGC July Meeting Agenda for Tonight

Hi TGC Team,

Attached and copied below find the Agenda for tonight's meeting. We sure 
hope you can make it.

Unless any of our committees have any reports, our main items of 
business will be Adoption of the Land Trust Alliance Standards and 
Practices. Bill Flournoy has already sent these to you. Please read 
these over and bring any questions you have to the meeting tonight. 
Please be prepared to vote to adopt them, or defer for another month. 
I'd like to get this done as soon as possible. Thanks to Bill's 
leadership, we are following all of these practices already, so it 
should not be a stretch for us.

We'll also discuss the meeting with City of Raleigh Attorney Dorothy 
Leapley which detailed the resolution of the issues surrounding the 
Hanson Aggregates Quarry on Duraleigh Road. Bill has already sent you a 
report and possible TGC posture position on this issue. Please look it 
over and be prepared with your questions and comments.

Also, Jeff has sent you a copy of the Treasurer's Report. Be prepared to 
accept it tonight as well.

Also bring your own news and updates as well. If you have anything to 
add to the agenda, please contact me as soon as possible.

Since we have some business to discuss I'll ask Bill F. only to bring 
absolutely needed Land Trust items tonight and hold off less important 
items until next month.
