Good Morning All:

This e-mail is to update you on the status of your recommended 2006 
Adopt-A-Trail Grant Award.  

We are ready to send the recommended applications to the Division of 
Purchase and Services for development of contracts pending final 
approval of the State Budget by the NC General Assembly and Governor Easley.

I have no idea about when you might expect to receive your contract 
documents.  This can take up to 6 weeks once your application is 
received by the Division of Purchase and Services. 

You can speed up the process by quickly signing all contract documents 
once received and returning them to the Division of Purchase and Services.

Please, please, please remember that you will have to May 20th to spend 
and complete your AAT project.  Due to budget shortfalls, we are no 
longer authorized to request grant completion date extensions.  All 2006 
AAT fund accounts close on June 20th.
