[Greenway-board] September TGC Meeting Agenda

Hi TGC Board,

Attached and copied below find the very late Agenda for tonight's 
meeting. Sorry it is running late. I had a number of phone calls emails, 
and a minor computer meltdown this morning.

I've heard that Allen DeHart will not be at the meeting tonight because 
he is recovering from skin cancer surgery. We all wish him a speedy 
recovery. David Connelly has stated he will not be at the meeting 
tonight either.

As Bill F. has stated, we'll need to formally approve some business that 
was undertaken by the Land Trust Committee prior to this meeting. He and 
I sent out notices of this, and I heard no objections. Everyone else who 
responded said they supported this business. He'll give us the details 
tonight.

Leslie Kennedy has sent most of you a draft of a letter from the TGC to 
be sent to David King at NCDOT  concerning paving the American Tobacco 
Trail. This was requested by everyone at our August meeting. We'll 
discuss and approve this tonight.

In other similar business, Jeff Brewer requested last week that we 
should hold off on sending a letter to Raleigh Parks and Recreation 
concerning connecting greenway trails to the Mountains to Sea Trail 
until a later time.

We may have a guest tonight. Brian H. Reck, a newcomer to the Triangle, 
found our website and wants to join us. He may be late for the meeting, 
but that is fine! We look forward to meeting him.

Please let me know if you have any last minute additions to the agenda 
when you can, or simply bring them to th meeting.
