Saturday, April 23 - 2005 Walk/Run for Umstead

WHEN: Saturday, April 23
WHERE: Reedy Creek Road, turn off Blue Ridge Road across from Art Museum 
(Raleigh, NC)
On-site parking (if arrive before 9:30am). 4-mile Trail Run/Walk on 
trails in Umstead State Park with live music along trail and live music 
upon return. Timing by Carolina Godiva Track Club. Awards from 
Inside-Out Sports for fastest runners.  Anyone who raises over $50 for 
Umstead State Park will recieve a gift certificate valued at 10% of 
their donation to Great Outdoor Provision Company.
Pre-register and packet pick-up at Great Outdoor Provision Company on 
Thursday, April 21 from 6-9pm (1st 75 receive FREE Thorlo socks!)
You can also Pre-register and pick-up packet a the race site on Friday 
from 3-7pm.
SCHEDULE, SATURDAY, APRIL 23.

8am – 9:30 am.         Register and Packet Pick-up for Walk/Run.  Music 
by Bruce Emery & David McKnight.

10 am.    Walk/Run.   Walk/Run any distance up to 4 trail miles with 
lots of live music by: Rhythmicity, Jamie Purnell, Marilyn and Travis 
Gates, and Pete Leary.

Music on Stage (awards and door prizes during break)
11-noon		Brien Barbour
12:15-1:15  	Nixon, Blevins, and Gage
1:30-2:30		Bett Padgett
