I was so pleased to see this article. Don had called me last year to
ask about doing a series of articles on the old neighborhoods of
Durham, and I recommended OND in particular because of the spirit of
the neighborhood as well as having just been the Old Home Tour
neighborhood. It is most appropriate that he chose to interview you &
Jon, Shannon, since you both have done so much to boost the
neighborhood with your ongoing work with the neighborhood association
and with Preservation Durham. Old North Durham is lucky that you
chose it for your home - indeed, any neighborhood would be lucky to have you.
