Don't know anything about plaster walls, but there is one person I can
ask.

 

My question is whether or not there is an outfit nearby that sells
building materials that have been salvaged from house tear down or
significant renovations.  In some locations they do a booming business
of such materials at great savings over buying new.  I believe in
recycling,and am considering enclosing my front porch.  I would be happy
to use older stuff, even windows, and put them to good use.
