Hi everyone!
BCBS is having a job fair on Wednesday November 3 from 3-6. IT will be at
our CSC building on Ivy Creek Blvd (not the big spaceship building!) It is
primarily for jobs in Customer Service but there are plenty of people
available to talk about other roles.
I am looking to hire 40 Customer Service Specialists and a Manager of
Customer Service. The CSS are non-exempt hourly positions. The jobs are 8
hours a day with the main responsibility to answer customer calls. There
will be 6 weeks of paid training and benefits that start right away. The
jobs start in January. These are not 'high' paying jobs and it is not a
network management call center. I just want to make sure I set the
expectations so as to not have you be disappointed. You will need to pass a
typing test. Please ask to speak to me or to someone that reports to me if
you come to the fair!
The Manager Position is exempt. It will be your job to make sure the folks
on the phones are doing just that and providing extremely satisfying
Customer Service. There is a Resource Management type capacity required
here for the Supervisors you would be leading. I need someone who has
managed a call center, understands how to motivate and grow people.
There are other customer service roles available for my peer organizations -
please feel free to speak to them as well.
