Teleflex Medical, a $746 million international medical and surgical device manufacturer, announces a Career Opportunities Fair.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm WHERE: The Wyndham Garden Hotel, 4620 South Miami Boulevard, RTP, NC 27709

We currently expect to have more than 150 openings in Research Triangle Park, NC including the following positions in Regulatory and Quality:

Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Description: Manage all US Food and Drug Administration aspects of regulatory affairs associated with the business unit. Work directly with FDA to promote agreement on filing strategies or resolve problems. Requirements: B.S. degree or the equivalent with 3-5 of relevant experience.

Regulatory Specialist – Complaints

Description: Responsible for all aspects of complaint handling including: receiving and documentation of customer complaints. Requirements: BS Degree; Registered Nurse (R.N), with surgical procedures and/or surgical instrumentation background.

Quality Specialist

Description: Responsible for monitoring and tracking the status of CAPAs at RTP, locating stalled documents and assisting in identifying the next actions required. Also responsible for entering data into the DHR spread sheet after product has been released to inventory by QA. Responsible for assisting the Quality Auditor in performing internal quality audits and supplier quality audits. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of QA experience.

Senior Quality Engineer

Description: Provides quality assurance services to an assigned area. Thoroughly understands fundamentals of quality systems, details of specifications, and related quality standards. Writes/revises procedures and specifications as necessary. Must understand and be able to apply statistical methods to product and process development areas. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years experience.
