Dear Colleagues,



This is a reminder that you are invited to the second Cluster
Leadership Network All-Cluster event of 2006.  This cross-cluster
meeting, entitled "The State of the State in Science and Technology,"
will be held March 22nd from 8-9:30 AM at RTRP's RDU offices.  Coffee
and light refreshments will be served.



We are fortunate to have Dr. Robert McMahan as our speaker for this
event. He will discuss what's going on in North Carolina in science
and technology policy and what's on tap for the upcoming legislative
session.  Dr. McMahan spoke to the Cluster Networks last year and his
presentation was very interesting and informative; we encourage
everyone who is able to attend this exciting event.



Dr. McMahan is Senior Advisor to the Governor of North Carolina for
Science and Technology and the Executive Director of the North
Carolina Board of Science and Technology. In this role he advises the
Governor, the Secretary of Commerce, the General Assembly, and the
Boards of Science and Technology and Economic Development about
science and technology matters and supports and advises the state
government on science, technology, entrepreneurship and
technology-based economic development.
