PLEASE NOTE: NEW TIME and LOCATION

Dear Colleagues,
 The May meeting of the Advanced Medical Care Cluster Network will be
held on Wednesday, May 3, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at WakeMed Hospital -
Raleigh Campus, 3000 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh. The meeting will
discuss the clinical use and research of robotics and automation in
medical care. WakeMed will be providing a demonstration of the DaVinci
surgical robot (http://www.intuitivesurgical.com/products/davinci_surgicalsystem/index.aspx),
used in cardiac, urological, and gynecological surgery. Local research
in medical robotics will also be highlighted.
