develop and commercialize products that can be distributed in global

peak performance for their processes, organizations, and manufacturing
operations from early development phases through commercial launch. From
2000 to 2004, Dr. Tetzlaff served as President of KMI, a division of
PAREXEL International, LLC (KMI) where he helped management of
healthcare companies to achieve operational efficiencies, reduce time to
market, and to avoid regulatory compliance issues. Dr. Tetzlaff joined
KMI in 1993 as Vice President, Compliance Services, and was previously
employed with the FDA for more than 27 years. Between 1978 and 1993, he
held the position of the FDA’s National Expert on Parenteral Drugs and

active in industry programs on quality management and GMP compliance
related issues, having made more than 300 presentations at various
national/international industry symposia and FDA training programs. He

Quality by Design / Design Space dossiers. Prior to joining Regulatory
CMC in 2003, Tom spent over 14 years in the pharmaceutical industry in
the areas of process development and technology transfer, where his
primary interests were powder mixing, blend sampling, and the use of
statistical techniques during process development, optimization, and in
the assessment of process capability and robustness. He was an Adjunct
Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Campbell University
(1996 – 2000), a member of the SUPAC IR Industry Training Committee
