I found this very interesting educational seminar being held at Duke.
I am going to attend to make social contacts, to learn what is going on, who is doing it, and where.

N.B.
Please be mindful that if you are going to sell yourself, it must be a very SOFT and polilte sell.
We get turned off by people who are in your face offering to sell you something which you might not be interested about. You have to research your audience and their needs and budgets. Don't take the big company attitude that any solution is good as long as it involves your stuff. I know that we have all worked with the marketing department and even though we have seem them "in action" and inclined to imitate them, most of them would be used car salespeople had their fate been otherwise. You will burn too many valuable bridges if you are not careful. Just my 2 cents. Most of these attendees are academics and are not be in a position to get you a job. However, every one of them might know someone who is hiring.
