At the September 12th MedTech Forum the North Carolina Biotechnology Center
will present its recently completed strategic study of North Carolina's
advanced medical technologies sector.
The Report, which was sponsored by the Biotechnology Center with support
from the North Carolina Biosciences Organization and its NCMD membership
forum, includes an in-depth analysis of North Carolina medical device and
other advance medical technologies assets, related national and
international trends, and specific recommendations for growing the sector in
the state.
*The Honorable Norris Tolson* from the State of North Carolina, Department
of Revenue will provide the opening remarks. *Teri Louden*, President of The
Louden Network and author of the study, will review the report's findings
and recommendations for program participants. Louden will be introduced by
NCBC Senior Vice President, *Ken Tindall*. Louden's presentation will be
followed by a question and answer session featuring Louden, Tindall and
NCBIO President *Sam Taylor*.
