      This is to announce the upcoming RTRP-INFORMATICS Industry
Cluster Network Meeting

      scheduled for October 2nd. at the RDU Authority Building, 8:00am
– 10:00am.

      The NCSU Technology Incubator clients are given the opportunity
to become part of a dynamic R & D neighborhood with access to services
and resources such as research, funding opportunities, marketing
strategies, business planning, and the unique ability to partner with
NCSU departments, faculty, and students. Two new companies from the
NCSU- Incubator will be presenting. They are:

      Chas Scarantino, President of Magnus Health Portal –

      Tools and processes to empower employees to manage their
healthcare, drive medical information exchange between their
physicians, and lower their healthcare costs.  Our business is to make
your business healthier.

                                    AND

      Tim Horan, President and Founder of Beecoz –

      A social white pages directory and local information service
that connects people, neighborhoods, and communities.

      You will learn about:

            -The Idea or event that started these companies

            -How they got up and running

            -Major hurdles overcome

            -The networking connections that made this a success

      This meeting will also have a 20-minute facilitation on topics,
format, and speakers for upcoming INFORMATICS meeting.  We look
forward to seeing you at the meeting and renewing old relationships
and making new industry contacts.
