[rtp_cdisc] RTP CDISC Group Job Posting Policy

Recently someone inquired about posting relevant job opportunities to
this group. The steering committee discussed it and agreed it was
acceptable. The committee defined the following policy for posting
job opportunities.

CDISC RTP User's Group Job Posting Policy

Relevant job openings may be posted to the RTP CDISC User Network as a
service to members. Postings are in no way endorsed or vetted by the
RTP CDISC User Network or the RTP CDISC Steering Committee. Postings
may be allowed if they meet the following basic criteria:
1. No "blind" ads: postings must include the job
title/description, name of the company, work location, contact name,
phone number and e-mail. A full description of the job and summary of
requirements & qualifications must either be included in the posting
or be readily available via a link provided in the posting.
2. Relevance: postings must be related to employment within the
biomedical/clinical research fields or closely related fields.
Example: an opening for an IT computer programmer with a company which
services pharmas may be acceptable, while an opening for a real estate
agent would not be (despite the fact that pharma employees may live in
the neighborhood).
3. Sincerity: postings must be for genuine opportunities for
which a qualified responder can have a sincere expectation of being
considered for specific employment. Postings that are solely designed
to meet EEOC or other Federal announcement requirements are not
acceptable, nor are postings whose purpose is to generate marketplace
information on salaries, size of the worker pool etc.

The determination of whether the criteria are met is solely at the
discretion of the RTP CDISC Steering Committee and its designees. This
acceptable use policy in no way creates a contractual obligation to
post job openings and can be modified, replaced or rescinded at any
time by the Committee.
