Hold the Date!!  June 4, 2008

This is to announce the upcoming All Cluster Meeting scheduled June 4, 
2008 at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development in Durham on 100 
Capitola Drive.  The guest speaker is Dr. John Hardin, Interim Deputy 
Director & Chief Policy Analyst of the North Carolina Board of Science 
and Technology, who will be speaking on Nanotechnology in North 
Carolina: Assets, Activities, Challenges, and Opportunities.

Dr. Hardin’s presentation will begin with an overview of nanotechnology, 
its importance, and national and international trends surrounding it. 
Using this information as a background, his presentation will then 
provide an overview of North Carolina’s current assets and activities 
related to nanotechnology, particularly those of universities and 
industry.  He will conclude with a discussion of the challenges and 
opportunities for nanotechnology in North Carolina.

All the Industry Cluster Networks (BAID, AMC, and Informatics) will have 
an opportunity to network and reestablish connections at this All 
Cluster meeting.
