Dear Members:

We are excited to announce the following presentation for our 2009 2nd 
Fall Meeting to be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Hilton 
Raleigh-Durham Airport in Research Triangle Park, NC.

This meeting will offer two speakers:

4:00 PM   Robert T. Jacobs, Ph.D., Director of Chemistry, SCYNEXIS, Inc.
Title:    Medicinal Chemical Strategies to Reduce  Transporter-Mediated 
Efflux for Delivery of Xenobiotics Across the Blood-Brain Barrier


7:00 PM   William F. Elmquist, Pharm.D., Ph.D., Professor of 
Pharmaceutics, University of Minnesota
Title:    Role of Transporter in the Blood-Brain Barrier in the CNS 
Distribution of Drugs:  In Vitro – In Vivo Correlations

Registration will be from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM.  Cocktail hour and 
networking will be 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM followed by dinner at 6:00 PM – 
7:00 PM.

Please make reservations to attend this meeting by Thursday, December 3, 
2009; cancellations will not be accepted thereafter.  Once reservations 
are confirmed by a return email, payment is expected unless a 
cancellation email is received by the RTP-DMDG on Thursday, December 3, 
2009.

As usual, please make checks payable to the "RTP DMDG" either in advance 
(preferred) or at the meeting ($40 for members and $20 for students and 
post-docs).  We cannot accept credit card payment.

Poster presentations are encouraged by students/post-docs, with free 
registration for the presenter.  A limited number of posters will be
