**RTP-DMDG Winter Symposium - March 5, 2008**

Dear Members,

We are excited to announce the following presentations for our Winter
Symposium to be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the NC Biotechnology
Center.  The topic for this series is "Quantitative Proteomics and Its
Application to ADME."

The speakers and tentative titles are:

Douglas M. Sheeley, D. Sc. (NIH) "Methods for Proteomics"

Michael B. Fessler, M.D. (NIEHS) "Global Proteomics and Relative
quantification in Toxicology"

Christie L. Hunter, Ph.D. (Applied Biosystems) "Targeted Quantitative
Proteomics in Biology"

Tetsuya Terasaki, Ph.D. (Tohoku University) "Targeted Absolute
Proteomics As A New Path for Drug Discovery and Development"

Scott D. Patterson, Ph.D. (Amgen, Inc.) "Clinical Applications of
Quantitative Proteomics"

Reservations must be received by Tuesday, February 26th; cancellations
will not be accepted thereafter.  Once reservations are confirmed by a
return email, payment is expected unless a cancellation email is
received by the RTP-DMDG on Tuesday, February 26th.

As usual, please make checks payable to the "RTP DMDG" either in advance
(preferred) or at the meeting ($60 for members and $25 for students).
(We cannot accept credit card payment).

Poster presentations are encouraged, with free registration for the
presenter.  A limited number of posters will be accepted.  Awards will
be given.  Please see the attached document for eligibility
