> When you arrive for tonight's rehearsal, please be prepared for the possibility that Westminster's parking lots may be fuller than usual. There is a special pre-school event going on tonight in addition to our rehearsal involving the 2 other choirs, so please be patient &, if needed, park in the post office lot across the street. You may want to arrive a bit early in case getting situated takes extra time. Tonight is our first chance to work with members of the 2 other church choirs, so it's an important rehearsal & I'm hoping for great attendance!

> The schedule for concert weekend is as follows:

> --Saturday's rehearsal is in the sanctuary from 10 a.m. until 12:30. Please note that the brass quintet will already be rehearsing when you arrive, so please enter quietly. Coffee/snacks will be available in the kitchen parlor, so you might want to stop there first if you arrive early.

> --It would help me a great deal if each choir member would be responsible for his/her own folder during the entire weekend. This saves me from having to cart folders over en masse; you may want to keep your choir folder(s) in your car beginning after tonight's rehearsal & for the remainder of the weekend. Any extra music, in case you're missing something, will be out on the organ console Saturday morning. (Scott & Brian, please bring your choirs' extra music too because I doubt we'll have a lot of extras; we'll do our best to keep things separated.)

> --After Saturday's rehearsal, I'd appreciate some help putting chairs away & generally readying the chancel for Sunday morning worship. No heavy lifting required this time!

> --Sunday's concert begins with a brass prelude (they'll start playing a few minutes before 4:00). Choir members should be in the Chancel by 3:20 p.m. for a brief warm-up; if this time needs to be adjusted, we'll make an announcement at Saturday's rehearsal.

> --Encourage your family & friends to stay for a reception after the concert.

> --Concert dress is our black/white combination: for women, white or ivory blouses with black skirts (any length ok, but longer skirts are preferred); for men, black trousers, white shirts, & bowties. If you don't have a bowtie, Tom Shaffer & others have kindly loaned us some for your use--just be sure to return borrowed bowties after the concert.
