Dear members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Raleigh Alumni Chapter,
My son Turner A. Pride, Jr. is a 16 year old  senior and scholar athlete at
Enloe Magnet High School, in Raleigh. Turner is an AP student with a 3.6 GPA
and has applied to 5 colleges and universities with great enthusiasm. At
this time, he has been accepted to three -- University of Maryland --
College Park, Howard University and East Carolina University.  We are still
waiting to hear from the other two -- University of North Carolina - Chapel
Hill and North Carolina State Unviersity.  Turner will study Biology on the
university level, and during his high school tenure he has participated in a
number of leadership programs and has been an active member of the
community. He is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars,
Who's Who Among American High School Students and others.  Attached is a
two-page brochure about my son and his involvement in the Kappa Alpha Psi,
Beautillion Militaire Leadership Program.  This program has exposed Turner
to various leadership and developmental activities to further prepare him
for his future.  You can read more about the program and Turner in the
attachment.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to the Kappa Charitable Trust Fund
Beautillion Militaire Leadership and Training Program in support of the
fraternities many efforts to give to the community. All donations go
directly to the Kappa Leadership Program and Turner will compete for one of
the awarded scholarships. Remember, no donation is too small.  

The deadline for donations is March 5, 2007.
