  Dear Loyal Supporter,
   
  The Raleigh-Apex Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is proud to announce our annual Freedom Fund Banquet scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 6:00 pm at the Jane S. McKimmon Center on the campus of North Carolina State University.  This year’s keynote address will be provided by Reverend Dr. David Forbes, Pastor of Christian Faith Baptist Church.  The Banquet recognizes individuals, organizations and small businesses for outstanding contributions in Wake County.  Our theme for this year is “Moving from Civil Rights to Civil to Civil Responsibility.”
   
  We will be honored to have your presence at the FREEDOM FUND BANQUET.  As a loyal supporter of our Branch, your sponsorship is needed to ensure the continuation of our work in the community.  We have three levels of sponsorship as well as a number of other ad and ticket combinations.  The Gold Sponsorship is $550.00 and includes a reserved table for eight (8), and a full-page ad in our souvenir book.  The Silver Sponsorship is $400.00 and includes a reserved table for four (4) and a half-page ad in our souvenir book.  The Bronze Sponsorship is only $250.00 and includes seating for two (2) and a quarter page ad in the souvenir book.  Each level of sponsorship will receive prominent placement in our souvenir journal with a specified number of booklets reserved for your archives.
   
  The Branch uses funds raised from the FREEDOM FUND BANQUET to continue our work in the community by funding on-going projects and forums, to aid students in furthering their education by offering scholarships, to meet our national assessments and enables the national office and local Branch to better serve this area.  Because of our Branch 501C (4) status, contributions and donations are not tax deductible; however, your financial support impacts advancement of civil rights in Wake County and will directly affect the lives of those in your community.  This effort has proven very worthwhile and we believe with your continued support we can further the fight for justice and equality.
   
  Please complete and return the attached form to the address provided no later than March 11, 2007 to confirm your attendance at and sponsorship of the Freedom Fund Banquet.
