  Dear David Gill Sr.,
   
  I learned of your organization as an undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill and seeing all of the work that the Theta Omicron chapter does there.  I see from your chapter’s website that you are extremely involved in the community.
   
  I would love the opportunity to speak with you about ways the Raleigh Alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. can partner with us. These ideas are limitless and we can fit it to meet your organization’s needs and wants.  I am in charge of donor recruitment for the permanent blood donation centers located in Raleigh. One option would be to partner with the Blood Donation Center for a day, a week, or a month and ask that the Raleigh Alumni chapter, along with friends and family, come into the Center during this time and donate. During this time, we would be glad to have a member come to the Center and provide information to our regular donors about what the Raleigh Alumni chapter does for the community.  I would also be happy to speak to the group to educate members about the importance of donating blood and the need for blood. There are several options in between as well. 
   
  Please let me know if the Raleigh Alumni chapter would be interested in hearing more about this opportunity. I would also be glad to be a guest speaker at any of your meetings, and am available most of the time on a last minute basis.  I have attached 2 different documents that have very pertinent information about the increasingly important need for African-American blood donations.
