Hi Anthony,

One place to apply for computers is with Teaming for Technology (T4T),
Triangle United Way. See their Web site at
http://www.unitedwaytriangle.org/t4t/ or go directly to
http://www.unitedwaytriangle.org/2004/t4t/receive.htm . If I remember
correctly, Pines Community Center received some computers from T4T
through one of our first Americorps VISTAs, Gena Harrington.

More options are listed at http://www.rtpnet.org/collections/recycle.shtml.
Gifts in Kind is listed there. I've heard good things about them, but
have not used their services. Their Web site says: "Donated product is
free, but it costs Gifts In Kind International to get the donation to
you. To help absorb some of these expenses, we charge a low
Administrative Fee that you pay every time you request a donation."
