I don't know if this group has been
sending e-mail to all of RTPnet.org, but did a little research and they
seem to be a legitimate training group, having reviews from various non-profits
around the US. Some quotes appear here in the Teaming for Technology page
for SW PA United Way:
For a one day workshop that would teach
actual use of ArcExplorer, I'd say $225 is an OK rate. Certainly
the topic, analyzing demographic data for the benefit of non-profit organization
missions, is a skill that many of us would be happy to have amongst our
staff or volunteers. Wish I could schedule this workshop in !
