Is anyone on this list working with
Classy D. Preston and Community Learning Partners of Wake County?

Errol Casey sent me the following URL:

It sounds like there is real progress being made in Raleigh, both with
funding and getting volunteers.

But, here is one paragraph from it:

The group is also in the process of developing a computer-training
curriculum to teach students such skills as how to perform Internet
research, create spreadsheets and prepare power-point presentations.
Although many schools offer students some exposure to computers, Preston
said she isn't aware of any that provide individualized tutoring or have
a detailed curriculum specifically aimed to help at-risk children.

Someone on this list should be able to help them with their curriculum.

Side note: Birchwood Learning Center was founded in 1996, not 1999 (see
http://www.rtpnet.org/blc/history.html).
