Subject: GCF Global Learning offers CEUs

Hi Judy,

I have some news to share with you.  Students learning new computer skills can earn Continuing Education Units through GCF Global Learning's FREE Internet-based computer training.  Courses are available in English at www.GCFLearnFree.org and in Spanish at www.GCFAprendaGratis.org

GCF Global Learning, administered by Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET).  GCF Global Learning is now authorized to offer continuing education units (CEUs) to people completing certain courses on its website. Currently 4 online courses offer CEUs: Word 2000, PowerPoint 2000, Access 2000, and Excel 2000.

IACET is a nonprofit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs.  IACET certifies education providers that meet strict continuing education guidelines.  GCF Global Learning joins other Triangle organizations, including North Carolina State University and SAS Institute, Inc. in being recognized by IACET for the quality of its programs and in being authorized to offer CEUs.
