"A workspot is a GNU/Linux account, on our servers. You use the desktop and
software through a web browser, from anywhere in the world. You get a full
graphical desktop. It's the real thing"
Basically this company is selling monthly subscriptions ($9.95 month) for a
service that allows you to use a Linux computer applications remotely.
This could be helpful for schools, non-profits, or any organization.
For example: If a school has a bunch of old computers that are on a network
they could subscribe to this service without having to install multiple
operating systems and software. Instant computer lab upgrade!
Check the uses section http://www.workspot.com/uses/ for more ideas.
