Ben,

Many scanners worked with TWAIN drivers.  My two scanners, both USB 
connect, can interchangably use each other's software. One's from 
Visioneer, the other from HP.  I have another SCSI scanner, it however is 
not recognized by the software above, but fortunately I did locate the 
correct software and driver online before it was no longer available. Net 
is, need:

Product Manufacturer

Model # (and type of connection from scanner to PC: parallel, SCSI, USB, 
whatever )

Operating system version you wish to connect and run with this scanner: 
Window$/95 or 98 or 2000, or Redhat Linux 7.1, whatever.

Given these tidbits we might be able to help you out !
