To RTPnet TACT list:

There are two reasons for you to take this survey --
(1) to provide input for this project
(2) to get ideas for similar surveys, particularly for the next RTPnet
conference.

Subject: [DIGITALDIVIDE] Technology needs and wants survey for nonprofits

Dear Digital Divide Activists,

I'm working on a project with Secure Sponsorship
(http://www.securesponsorship.org) to design workshops
that combine strategic and hands-on learning for
community-based organizations. The goal is to help
nonprofits in the Greater Boston area achieve their
missions by making effective use of technology.

We all know that there's a huge difference between
technology education that's merely interesting, and
technology education that REALLY addresses the problems
that nonprofit professionals have in front of them.

A really practical and strategic program can only be
designed with a lot of uncensored input from
individuals on the front lines. If you are a staff
member or board member of an organization with 501(c)3
status, then we invite you to take our 10 minute survey
about your needs and wants. Just go to this URL:

This survey is for internal research purposes only. If
you choose to provide contact information or
individually identifiable data, it will not be
externally distributed, rented, or sold.

Many thanks and best regards from Deborah

P.S. Please feel free to forward this invitation to
colleagues in the nonprofit sector.
