To rtpnet-tact and ctnc lists:

I demonstrated Tech LinkUp today at IBM's Spring into Communities -- IBM
employees stopped by our tables during lunch to learn about local services
and volunteer opportunities. I promoted both RTPnet and Tech LinkUp. So I
think Tech LinkUp is now officially launched.

Tech LinkUp ( http://www.techlinkup.org/ )
helps connect volunteers, sponsors, and businesses with community
organizations. If you have a nonprofit organization, please register and
specify your current needs. Also register if you would like to volunteer
or provide financial support or if your business can provide resources
that nonprofits might use.

Go to http://www.techlinkup.org , click Participate, in the left column.
Click the appropriate category and then the word "register" or, part way
down the page, click the category under "Sign up now!"

Detailed instructions are at http://www.techlinkup.org/FAQs.asp .
Note that searches are zip-code based, so you can start using Tech LinkUp
where ever you are!

Send e-mail to help at techlinkup.org if you have any questions or problems
using Tech LinkUp.
