[rtpnet-tact] Discussion with North Carolina Media Arts Leaders

In December, I participated in a National Alliance for Media Arts &
Culture Regional Meeting in Chapel Hill (also known as NAMAC Think Tank
Discussion). Although the notes are not on the www.namac.org, they are
posted, with permission, at

The notes are well organized observations and suggestions. The section
"We are experiencing a growing need for community" is particularly
interesting to me. For example, there is a need for gathering places where
media makers can get together and "... cultural institutions such as
museums are remaking themselves into community centers and places of
connection."

There are several topics that might be of interest to people on this list.
No solutions. But some things to think about.

It was a very interesting group with good discussion. Sorry to post this
so long after the meeting.
