On October 15th, Groundspring.org's Training & Consulting Manager John
Kenyon will present the online strategy session "Building the
eNonprofit". In this full-day class you'll learn about the innovative
ideas and groundbreaking techniques that organizations like yours are
using to engage people and raise money online.

nonprofit staff learn the building blocks of the successful eNonprofit:
Internet Strategy, Email Communications, and Online Fundraising. This
workshop will present a thorough agenda of interactive learning
materials to maximize your staff time, budget and technology know-how to
create a great Internet strategy, email communications program, and
online fundraising campaign. 

This workshop will cover: the definition and strategies of online
fundraising; assessing your organizational capacity for Internet
fundraising/engagement; developing an effective web presence and driving
traffic to your site; using email effectively as a communications and
fundraising tool; online donation processing systems; data integration
issues; how to find and use Internet vendors; and a review of
participant web sites and Internet plans. This session is most
appropriate for those with a beginner or intermediate level of knowledge
about online fundraising.
 
This session is appropriate for program, development and IT staff, as
well as for board members and chief executives.  Cost of this day-long
training is $109 (lunch is not provided). Training is from 9:30 to 4:30
at the Triangle United Way offices in Morrisville, NC.
